The terrific ones
Photos and video by G. Vassallo
“The Terrific Ones” – the campaign devised, photographed and filmed by White Box Studio for Treesure – is moved by a wholly contemporary, feminine spirit that views women of all cultures, social position and geographical origin as sisters of an army of wonder. This sense of wonder derives from the assertion – without hesitation – of the unique characteristics that make up sisterhood, of the specific features that make up a universe shaped by respect, solidarity and triumph.
Lives
“The Terrific Ones” campaign focuses on eleven lives: contrasting, yet stratifiable; unreconcilable, yet identical. Actress or climber, nurse or nomadic healer, political refugee or drag queen, the heart of the Treesure women beats with an independent, dangerous beauty, expressing neither dreams nor aspirations, but the presence – here and now – of her own power.
Meanings
“The Terrific Ones” campaign presents the world – of women – with all those values that drive the company and shape its jewellery. The heresy of calling themselves Terrific, the ethic of equality in the eye that observes the individuality of each life, all bound by a single common element: a jewel fashioned in silk and gold, the slender, ethical thread that runs through each story and connects each gold “decahedron”; the light that every woman, from every place, from every culture and condition, spreads through the world with her everyday actions.
